We discussed the difference between being a bit anxious and a full-blown Generalized Anxiety Disorder. We touched upon what a panic attack is and how to handle it as well. As always sass and flub-ups were included free of charge.Read More
Celeste is an incredible streamer and fellow mental health advocate. She very generously opened up about her story of learning to love and understand herself. She is a Puerto Rican immigrant who was raised Catholic. Only when she made it almost to the end of college was she able to get a diagnosis and start understanding her Panic Disorder, ADHD and Depressive episodes.Read More
We had another great guest! LPK was generous enough to share her anxiety story and how the mental illness has caused numerous GI issues. She talks about how running has helped her overall feel better and how her diagnosis has changed over the years.Read More
I am so grateful that I get to do these shows live on Twitch because we ended up with a great, open conversation.
I was also able to focus on the facts and hopefully, dissipate some incorrect notions we have on the subject. While painting acorns. The finished craft looks pretty bad, but I am more happy that I was able to have a civil conversation (with disagreements with people on the internet.)
I hope you'll be able to stop by next time
(Thus 8 pm, Sun 7pm EST/Thanksgiving SUN only Noon)
Please note that I also sometimes do random IRL's while I research, so be sure to follow me on Twitch and get notifications to know when I am on. When I hit 50 followers, there's a coloring book page surprise awaiting everyone as thanks!
Long story short, I only have one video this week, due to some lost footage. It's 29 mins and jam-packed with heartfelt, yet self-aware conversation.
I had an amazing guest. A long-time friend of mine and fellow corgi owner, who also suffers from anxiety, very generously opened up and helped me push through all the tough tech stuff. She was super honest and open, which helped me open up as well. We talked anxiety, carved pumpkins, stigma, diffirent types of symptoms and therapy.Read More
